Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your town and street, so the request reaches a company that works in your part of Ward County
- Your radon result, if you have one, and whether it came from a store kit or a professional monitor
- The foundation: full basement, crawl space, slab, or a mix under different parts of the house
- Whether the basement is finished, and whether it was rebuilt or re-drained after the 2011 flood
- For a home sale, the inspection deadline and the closing date
System fan stopped? Leave it plugged in and switched on, check that the breaker hasn't tripped, and don't cap or cut the pipe. Mention what the gauge shows when you call.
